Our Grand Kopjes Camp in the eastern Serengeti sits in the perfect location to see the Great Migration during the green season from November through May. This is a time of plenty for all the big cats given the abundance of prey, and offers the best timing to see the cats on the amazing kopjes (rock outcroppings) that are scattered throughout the area.

This camp location allows quick access to a wide range of the most game rich habitat in the Serengeti; to the South is the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the woodlands of the Ndutu region. To the West is the Central Seronera Valley, with its stunning beauty and high density of leopards. To the North is the short grass plains dotted with magnificent rock outcroppings called Kopjes. The surrounding areas comprise one of the worlds highest densities of both lions and cheetah - and also serves as the Great Migration's preferred calving area.

The Grand Kopjes Camp is a well-appointed tented camp with 8 guest tents. It offers full time hot and cold running water, modern en-suite bathrooms with all the amenities, ample electricity for in-tent charging of cameras and computers, and comfortable lounging and dinning tents - all with spectacular views facing the Gol Kopjes.

The Grand Mara Camp in the Northern Serengeti is in a spectacular location called Lamai, and is between the Mara River and Kenya (Maasai Mara). The secluded area offers beautiful landscapes and a high diversity of wildlife - including fantastic viewing of the Great Migration crossing the Mara river. While most of the Tanzania safari camps are on the south side of the Mara river, we are north of the river and enjoy relative seclusion from the crowds.

In addition to the fantastic viewing of the Great Migration river crossings and the huge crocodiles that prey on them, this area holds high populations of the big cats; lion, cheetah, leopard, as well as elephant, giraffe, and a myriad of birds, plains game and other wildlife.

The Grand Mara Camp offers 8 well appointed luxury tents with modern bathrooms and 24/7 hot water and electricity. A spacious lounge, bar and dinning tent equipped to accommodate group seating and/or intimate tables for couples. Our safaris in the Northern Serengeti are at the perfect time to be combined with Ruaha via a direct flight, for the ultimate combination of two very distinct ecosystems.
